OUR DIA-PRACTICE PROGRAMS Dia-Practice projects are undertaken when two or more religious groups come together to make the community a better place. - Community Meals Program: Partner with a congregation of a different religious tradition or come on your own to provide for our community's immediate food needs in dignity-affirming ways.
- Homeless Stand Down: A movement of hundreds of religiously diverse individuals and over 110 InterAct member congregations, organizations, school groups, and clubs stepping beyond obstacles that separate us and while working together towards the common goal of meeting the immediate, basic needs of our neighbors.
- HSD Pilot Program: A small group of religiously diverse people who meet regurlary for a year to preform service projects and engage in intentional interreligious dialogue. This year's program is working with a women's shelter.
- InterAct Youth Fellows Program : Small groups of religiously diverse teens will meet every 3 weeks from September to May to learn about AND to deepen their understanding of their own and other religious traditions, while impacting the community through direct community service. Volunteer Stars Once a quarter we highlight a “Volunteer Star” in InterActions , our printed newsletter. Those volunteers exemplifying the aforementioned traits will be nominated by their peers and selected by a committee composed of volunteers and staff. We encourage you to fill out a |
