Dia-Logues are interreligious conversations that strengthen our community by building mutual understanding that sustain relationships. Program Examples Sharing Paths Dialogue: A series of discussions that cover philosophies of various faith traditions around timely religious topics (Past topics included “Science and Religion” and “The Meaning of Life”). Each discussion is presented by one religious leader from a new or small religious community followed by four leaders from different traditions. This is a great avenue for individuals to hear the commonalities and differences amongst the various faith traditions in Cleveland. Religious Leaders Advisory Committee: Charged with keeping InterAct Cleveland relevant, this group is made up of religious leaders from InterAct’s organizational members. The Advisory Committee meets 2 to 3 times a year to discuss programs and concerns within the Cleveland community which could benefit from the combined focus of InterAct’s members. Next meeting on Sept. 3rd. International Interreligious Conversations: Partnering with the Cleveland Council on World Affairs and local non-profits InterAct has become the place to be for international interreligious conversations. Previous guests have included groups from China, India, Germany, Yemen, and Saudi Arabia. Scholars Book Group: A monthly book group for theologian scholars and religious leaders interested in interreligious study material.
