Explore the relationship between Science and Religion, two fields that have historically been at odds, and in some cases, continue to be in conflict today. Are these philosophies for discovering the unknown prone to conflict or can the two sides collaborate? Share your thoughts, ideas, and questions on June 14th at 3pm at the Unity Center Mosque in Brecksville. Our guest will be Rev. Dr. Hugh Burtner, local scholar and authority on Christianity’s long standing tug of war with science, followed by a multi-faith panel with Mr. Isam Zaiem, Uqba Mosque Foundation; Ani Palmo Rybicki, Songtsen Gampo Buddhist Center; Rabbi Shawn Zevit, Jewish Reconstructionist Federation; and Dr. Sudesh Agawal.
