 Hi Meal Volunteer Leaders- A few September Updates:
Average meal size at Calvary in August: 91 Menu Selection for the coming months at Calvary: - Wednesday September 23: Spaghetti with meat and veggies, carrots, rolls, fruit, brownies
- Wednesday October 28: American Spaghetti Casserole, salad, fruit, garlic bread, cookies
- Wednesday November 25: Spaghetti with meat and veggies, carrots, rolls, fruit, brownies
We are in conversation with Calvary about acquiring a new can opener. Please remember to either have all volunteers sign in at each meal or let me know how many volunteers were at your meal. This is very important! Reminder! Meals Training is this Wednesday, September 16, 6-8PM @ Calvary and Thursday September 17, 6-8PM @ Abington Arms. We want to recognize you and your volunteers at this year’s Annual Showcase Recognition Event (October 24). We will be recognizing one individual and one congregation for their outstanding commitment to interreligious service to our community in the Meals Program. Please use this nomination form to nominate those you feel are deserving. Nomination forms are due to InterAct Cleveland on Friday October 2. Friendly Reminder: Our next Meals Steering Committee Meeting is Wednesday October 7, 5:30-6:30PM @ Fairmount Presbyterian Church. Thank you to Hedy for hosting us. Shana Tova to our Jewish friends!
