Hi Fantastic Community Meal Leaders

Congratulations on another successful month. If only our Browns were as organized and awesome as you!

Volunteer Campaign packets are ready! Please contact me regarding how to get the materials to you. The posters are too large for the mail. Materials include:

·         InterAct Cleveland's Community Meals DVD
-
Posters (personalized to your congregation)
·         Newsletter template
·         CD of the photos taken at your groups meal (David, Loree, and JoAnn- I have a CD of photos for you both as well)

Congratulations to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (Kirby Colwell) and Mickey Friedman! Both were recognized at our Recognition Event on Oct. 24 for their outstanding contributions to the community through the meals program. Please start thinking now of who to nominate for next year.

Average meal size at Calvary Presbyterian in October: 86 (highest was 100, lowest 72).(Compare that to October's meal numbers)

Calvary Meal Providers- Please note that the coffee and juice are now being stored in Paul’s closet! Also, extra supplies may be in his closet too as we are running out of room under the stage. Thank you to all who emailed me regarding low supplies.

Copies of the volunteer training material are available at Calvary and Abington Arms in the supply closet. Please remember to have your volunteers sign in on the appropriate form (found in the supply closet!)

Menu Selection for November:
Epworth Euclid UMC - Meatloaf
Abington Arms - Mexican Themed

The next Steering Committee meeting is: April 12, 2010, 5:30PM @ Fairmount Temple. Are you able to host us on Oct 6, 2010?

Thanks! Hope you had a wonderful Halloween!

Toni
