On Feb. 7th more than 500 coats were given away to help those experiencing homelessness at InterAct Cleveland’s Homeless Stand Down 2010. The interreligious community, spanning the economic, generational, ethnic, and geographical lines, will join together for three days to remind our neighbors that they are not forgotten. Guests at the Stand Down will be warmly welcomed by hundreds of trained volunteers, escorted to a department full of clothing, met by eager doctors and nurses, treated by skilled hair cutters and massage therapists, and helped by numerous social service and shelter representatives. At the HSD 2010 respite, renewal, respect, and reconnection will be served. Help support InterAct Cleveland’s Homeless Stand Down movement by making a donation here.
