Page 1 of 3 Frequently Asked Questions: The Stand Down itself
- What is the Homeless Stand Down?
- Besides being a great service project that benefits the population of homeless individuals in Greater Cleveland; the Stand Down is a three day convention like festival that allows for respite, renewal and reconnection between both the volunteers and the guests.
- Who helps at the Stand Down?
- Everybody. We have 425 volunteers from as far as Westlake and Elyria to some coming from Nigeria. Our diverse volunteers represent all ages, ethnicities and social standings; specifically over 50 faith communities and organizations from all over Greater Cleveland with Girl Scout troops, families, college students and knitting groups have come together to help with the Stand Down
